DEADLINES:  1)  Grid Homework Assignment DUE Wed., 9/9...remember to cut into, create                                           textures and patterns that will change how you look at it.

                         2)  Altered Book Project DUE Friday, 9/11...TRANSFORM the book

                         3)  Art Box with supplies are to be in the Art room by class period on Friday,                                      9/11.  If this is a hardship, you must see or email Mrs. Plagge by Tuesday, 9/8.

During the week, students will be working on their Altered Book Project during class.  An Altered book  is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning.  The students were each given a discarded book as their inspiration and material for this project.

We will also be completing the grid compositions that the students started last week in class.  The pieces will be assembled for Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday.
