Week of November 13th-17th, 2017

On Monday, we have the unique opportunity of hosting the Hamilton County Park District's new program called "Art in Root".  They will be here for both Fundamentals of Art classes as well as the AP and 2D Studio class.  They will be bringing animals into the classroom for us to draw and then in the spring we will have the opportunity to visit one of the Hamilton County parks.  This is a new program and we are very excited by the opportunities it will give our students.

On Tuesday we will continue work on the Handscape project.  There has been a tremendous amount of creativity involved in the pieces thus far.  I am very excited to see the finished projects which will be DUE at the beginning of the class period on FRIDAY, NOV. 17th. They will have Tuesday through Thursday of class time to work on them.

Students will also be receiving the packet of information regarding the mid semester project that will be DUE right before we leave for Christmas break this week.  We will have time to go over it before we break for Thanksgiving.
